What hexagram 11 means
Tài is Earth above Heaven: the heavy rises, the light descends, and they meet in harmony. It is the hexagram of peace and flourishing, like spring when everything grows. The small departs and the great arrives. Enjoy it, share it and remember that peaceful times still need tending.

| Line 3 | No plain without a slope, no going without a return. Stay steady through the ups and downs. |
| Line 4 | Fluttering down, not relying on wealth. Unite sincerely with your neighbours. |
| Line 5 | A fortunate union of higher and lower. Blessings and great good fortune. |
| Line 6 | The wall falls back into the moat. Peace is ending; don't fight it with force, keep order close to home. |
The two trigrams
The lower trigram, Heaven 乾 (Qián), stands for your inner state and the root of the situation. The upper trigram, Earth 坤 (Kūn), stands for the outer circumstances. In element terms this is Earth over Metal. Heaven is the trigram of Kua 6 and Earth is the trigram of Kua 2.
