What hexagram 36 means
Míng Yí shows the sun sinking beneath the earth: the light is wounded. It describes a time when being too visible, too outspoken or too idealistic invites harm. The traditional advice is to keep your light burning inside, stay true to your principles and be outwardly discreet until conditions improve.

The two trigrams
