What hexagram 15 means
Qiān shows a mountain hidden under the earth: great substance, no display. Modesty is the only hexagram in which every line is favourable. The traditional commentary says heaven empties the full and fills the empty; people love the modest. Quiet competence carries you through.

The two trigrams
The lower trigram, Mountain 艮 (Gèn), stands for your inner state and the root of the situation. The upper trigram, Earth 坤 (Kūn), stands for the outer circumstances. In element terms this is Earth over Earth. Mountain is the trigram of Kua 8 and Earth is the trigram of Kua 2.
