What hexagram 60 means

Jié shows water over a lake: a lake can only hold so much. It is limitation. Healthy limits, like the joints in bamboo, make strength and freedom possible. The traditional advice is that limits must not be too harsh, or they cannot last.

Hexagram 60 in daily life

At work

Set boundaries on time, budget and scope. Clear limits make a project achievable.

In relationships

Healthy limits protect a relationship. Say clearly what you need.

For yourself

Practise self-discipline, but not self-punishment.
